Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

Pixamon Quest is committed to providing quality service to you, and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your personal information. We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), which govern the way we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your personal information. A copy of the Australian Privacy Principles is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

What is personal information, and why do we collect it?

Personal information is information or an opinion that identifies you. Examples of personal information we collect include your name, email address, and shipping and billing addresses. We obtain this information via our website (pixamon.quest), by email correspondence, and through cookies. We don't guarantee the content or policies of any third-party websites we link to.

We collect your personal information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, namely creating and managing your account and processing, fulfilling and shipping your orders. We may also use it for secondary purposes closely related to that primary purpose, such as customer support, in circumstances where you'd reasonably expect that use. When we collect personal information, we'll explain, where appropriate, why we're collecting it and how we plan to use it.

Sensitive information

Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include things like racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health information, or criminal record. We don't ask for or knowingly collect sensitive information through the Website. If we're ever provided with sensitive information, we'll only use it for the purpose it was given, a directly related secondary purpose, with your consent, or where required or authorised by law.

Third parties

Where reasonable and practicable, we collect your personal information only from you directly, through your use of the Website. We don't purchase personal information from third parties or data brokers.

Disclosure of personal information

Your personal information may be disclosed to third parties where you've consented to the use or disclosure, or where required or authorised by law. In practice, this means the service providers we rely on to run the Website and fulfil your order: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (sending order and account emails), and Cloudflare (website hosting, database and image storage). These providers only receive what they need to perform their service, and aren't permitted to use it for their own purposes. We don't sell your personal information to anyone.

Overseas disclosure

The service providers listed above operate infrastructure in multiple countries, so your personal information may be processed or stored outside Australia as a result. We only use providers with their own privacy and security commitments in place.

Security of personal information

Your personal information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Passwords are stored encrypted, and connections to the Website are encrypted in transit. When your personal information is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, we'll take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it, though order and account records are generally kept for at least 5 years to meet our tax and accounting obligations under Australian law.

Access to your personal information

You can access, update or correct the personal information we hold about you at any time from your account page, or by contacting us in writing at support@pixamon.quest. We won't charge a fee for an access request, though we may need to verify your identity first to protect your information.

Maintaining the quality of your personal information

It's important to us that your personal information is accurate, complete and up to date. If you find that the information we hold about you isn't up to date, please let us know as soon as practicable so we can correct our records.

Policy updates

This policy may change from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.

If you have any queries or complaints about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at support@pixamon.quest. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
